Is the Obama-Hitler Billboard Correct?

Posted: 20 Jul 2010 08:01 AM PDT

A controversial billboard comparing the "change" of U.S. President Barack Obama with Adolf Hitler and Vladimir Lenin raised a few eyebrows before it was papered over one day after it appeared in Mason City, Iowa.  The billboard suggests that Obama is a radical socialist leader similar to Hitler and Lenin.  This is, in fact, a true comparison, which is probably why it was papered over so quickly.  Obama, Hitler, and Lenin were all initially financed by Rothschild money. If we look at the historical record, we can clearly see that all three leaders were originally puppets of the House of Rothschild.

Iraq war 'swamped' MI5 with threats

Posted: 20 Jul 2010 03:59 AM PDT

The UK's Iraq Inquiry has been marked by politicians and former senior British government officials either defending positions or, perhaps, massaging history to fit their purpose.

Many commentators have found it either deeply disappointing or even boring.

Hosting Company Says al-Qaeda Website Reason for Removing 73,000 Blogs

Posted: 20 Jul 2010 03:06 AM PDT

It was not copyright violations that prompted the hosting service Burst.net to pull more than 73,000 blogs offline earlier this month. It was al-Qaeda, the phony terror group created by the CIA.

"The site was shut down after FBI agents informed executives of Burst.net, Blogetery's Web host, late on July 9 that links to al-Qaeda materials were found on Blogetery's servers, Joe Marr, chief technology officer for Burst.net," told CNET. "Sources close to the investigation say that included in those materials were the names of American citizens targeted for assassination by al-Qaeda. Messages from Osama bin Laden and other leaders of the terrorist organization, as well as bomb-making tips, were also allegedly found on the server."

Three months of oil

Posted: 20 Jul 2010 01:04 AM PDT

I can vividly recall April 20, 2010. The Deep Water Horizon oil rig had exploded overnight killing 11 men and in our morning news meeting in Washington DC the story was just one of many on the agenda that day.

How would we treat it? Did we have pictures? Would anyone from BP talk to us? What about the Coastguard?

US seeks Pakistan PR triumph

Posted: 19 Jul 2010 10:19 PM PDT

A preacher I once knew said something which has resonated with me ever since. "There is no end to the good you can do," he said, "provided you are willing to give someone else the credit."

No doubt, a substantial amount of good will come from the $500mn in new, large-scale US-funded infrastructure projects announced by Hillary Clinton, the US secretary of state, in Islamabad this week. But the secretary and other senior US officials have made it clear: They want to be sure the US gets the credit.

Public Anger and Distrust of Business and Government

An April 2010 Pew Research Center (PRC) for the People & Press study and others report growing public anger, distrust, and hostility toward business and government because of a "perfect storm of conditions" - wrecked economies, fueling "epic discontent" toward responsible officials.

PRC found nearly 80% of Americans don't trust government to do the right thing, the highest distrust level in half a century, this writer's April 28 article, titled "Growing Public Anger in America," discussing its findings.

CIA Disinformation for Dummies

Posted: 19 Jul 2010 10:01 PM PDT

Not all Americans are stupid. Admittedly, most of them are, dummed down by generations of deliberately engineered degenerative breeding[1] , as well as systematic physical, mental and intellectual poisoning, but there is also a distinct, highly intelligent 'master class' of mammon/satan-worshipping supremacist psychopaths and their house niggers. They are running the show.

No wonder then that most of them are so easily fooled into blindly believing the lies of their ruling crime families. A classic example is the recent Washington Post concoction titled 'A hidden world, growing beyond control'. The following points clearly identify it as a CIA disinformation piece.

Israeli right embracing one-state?

Posted: 19 Jul 2010 08:41 PM PDT

There has been a strong revival in recent years of support among Palestinians for a one-state solution guaranteeing equal rights to Palestinians and Israeli Jews throughout historic Palestine.

One might expect that any support for a single state among Israeli Jews would come from the far left, and in fact this is where the most prominent Israeli Jewish champions of the idea are found, although in small numbers.

Oil lies becoming more preposterous

Posted: 19 Jul 2010 04:36 PM PDT

They lied about what happened on 9/11/2001. They lied about the need to make war on Iraq. They lied about the reasons they started bombing Afghanistan.

So I guess we should not be surprised that they have lied every day about the profound defacement using an out-of-control oil well to destroy the Gulf of Mexico.

A hidden world, growing beyond control

Posted: 19 Jul 2010 03:49 PM PDT

The top-secret world the government created in response to the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, has become so large, so unwieldy and so secretive that no one knows how much money it costs, how many people it employs, how many programs exist within it or exactly how many agencies do the same work.

These are some of the findings of a two-year investigation by The Washington Post that discovered what amounts to an alternative geography of the United States, a Top Secret America hidden from public view and lacking in thorough oversight. After nine years of unprecedented spending and growth, the result is that the system put in place to keep the United States safe is so massive that its effectiveness is impossible to determine.

Video of NAACP Racism Emerges After Resolution Condeming Tea Party Movement

Posted: 19 Jul 2010 10:13 AM PDT

Race is a tactic used by the global elite to divide and conquer the masses and pit them against each other. A prime example of this tactic in action is the recent NAACP passage of a resolution condemning alleged and unsubstantiated racism in the Tea Party movement.

Card carrying members of the NAACP may not know it, but they are being played for chumps. They will not emerge winners from this cynical race game, the ruling elite will. For the eugenicist elite, we are all vermin regardless of skin color and ethnicity.

How Jay Bybee Has Approved the Prosecution of CIA Operatives for Torture

Posted: 19 Jul 2010 08:26 AM PDT

Last Thursday, Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.), the Chair of the House Judiciary Committee, released the previously undisclosed testimony of Jay S. Bybee, delivered to the Committee on May 26 as part of its investigations into advice given by Justice Department lawyers to the Bush administration regarding the use of torture in the "War on Terror." Bybee, now a judge in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, was the Assistant Attorney General in the Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel (the department that is supposedly obliged to deliver impartial legal advice to the Executive branch) on August 1, 2002, when two notorious memos — commonly known as the "torture memos" — were issued, largely written by OLC lawyer John Yoo, but ultimately signed off by Bybee.

Impeach Obama?

Posted: 19 Jul 2010 08:26 AM PDT

Recently, I received an email from Veterans for Peace (VFP) Chapter 136 in Central Florida asking me for an endorsement of its resolution to impeach Barack Obama.

First of all, I would like to commend the Central Florida chapter for its integrity and vision for peace that this resolution exhibits. In my own experience, it's not even popular to criticize the Dalai Bama, let alone call for his removal from office. Kudos!

The Real US Government

Posted: 19 Jul 2010 07:41 AM PDT

Glenn Greenwald

The Washington Post's Dana Priest demonstrates once again why she's easily one of the best investigative journalists in the nation -- if not the best -- with the publication of Part I of her series, co-written with William Arkin, detailing the sprawling, unaccountable, inexorably growing secret U.S. Government:  what the article calls "Top Secret America."  To the extent the series receives much substantive attention (and I doubt it will), the focus will likely be on the bureaucratic problems it documents:  the massive redundancies, overlap, waste, and inefficiencies which plague this "hidden world, growing beyond control" -- as though everything would better if Top Secret America just functioned a bit more effectively.

Monday: 1 British Contractor, 10 Iraqis Killed; 29 Iraqis Wounded

An attack in northern Iraq killed one Briton and as many as three other foreign nationals. At least 10 Iraqis were killed and 29 more were wounded in that attack and other violence across the country. Meanwhile, Ayad Allawi outlined his plans for the new government should he become the next prime minister. He also met with Shi'ite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr during a trip to Damascus.

In Mosul, a car bomb targeting a British security convoy killed as many as four foreign nationals and wounded six Iraqi bystanders. One Briton was confirmed dead. Two Americans may have been wounded as well. In other attacks, gunmen killed a civilian. Four Peshmerga were wounded in a blast during a search operation. A blast killed three policemen and wounded another.

The Chimera of "True Islam"

Posted: 19 Jul 2010 04:28 AM PDT

I'm not going to respond directly to Srdja Trifkovic,  since he said that our correspondence was over (for the record: in a responspe to a comment where I told him the same thing first), but there is an argument used by him and other professional Muslim haters that I can't stand.  It's called the "True Islam theory."  It goes like this.

Oh so you think we can exist on the same planet as Muslims?  Do you know that in 1453 the Grand Turk said that the Holy Roman Emperor looked like a homo?  That in 1652 there were Muslim tourists who spit on the Sistine Chapel?  That the Koran says a woman is worth three toenails of a man?  That the great Muslim theologian Kareem Abdul-Jabar wrote in 1068 that moving to Europe to live off the welfare state and rape blondes is part of jihad? Read up on the real Islam, and what the religion is really about.  Then you'll be ready to debate.

Omar Khadr Accepts US Military Lawyer for Forthcoming Trial by Military Commission

Posted: 19 Jul 2010 03:32 AM PDT

In a turnaround from the defiant position he took last week, when he sacked his US lawyers and stated that he would either boycott his impending trial by Military Commission, or would represent himself, Omar Khadr, the Canadian citizen who was just 15 years when he was seized in Afghanistan in July 2002, and who is accused of throwing a grenade that killed a US soldier, Sgt. Christopher Speer, has told his Canadian lawyers that he is now prepared to be represented by his US military defense lawyer, Army Lt. Col. Jon Jackson. His trial, which was scheduled to begin on August 9, will now begin at a later date, although pre-trial hearings will resume on that date.

Fool Me Twice: Biden Says No Exit from Afghanistan

Posted: 19 Jul 2010 02:12 AM PDT

There is one thing you can count on when it comes to establishment politicians. If their mouths are moving they are lying. Joe "Bite Me" Biden, second-in-command front man, is no exception.

Not long ago Biden said a "drawdown" will mean "a lot of people moving out" by next July but now he has second thoughts. He told ABC's "This Week" that the number of U.S. troops leaving Afghanistan "could be as few as a couple of thousand troops."

Israel's Separation Wall: A Health Hazard

In July 2004, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruled the Separation Wall illegal, saying its route inside the West Bank, and associated gate and permit system, violated Israel's obligations under international law, ordering the completed sections dismantled, and "all legislative and regulatory acts relating thereto" repealed or rendered "ineffective forthwith."

The ICJ also mandated reparations for the "requisition and destruction of homes, businesses, and agricultural holdings (and) to return the land, orchards, olive groves, and other immovable property seized," obligating member states to reject the illegal construction and demand Israel comply with international law.

A Parliamentary Mob on a Rampage

When I was first elected to the Knesset, I was appalled at what I found. I discovered that, with rare exceptions, the intellectual level of the debates was close to zero. They consisted mainly of strings of clichés of the most commonplace variety. During most of the debates, the plenum was almost empty. Most participants spoke vulgar Hebrew. When voting, many members had no idea what they were voting for or against; they just followed the party whip.

Treachery as Public Policy

"The bombing of Air India Flight 182 on June 23, 1985, was an act of terrorism. Three hundred and twenty-nine persons – passengers and crew – died in the North Atlantic off the coast of Ireland. The majority of the passengers were Canadian; one quarter of the victims (82) were under the age of 13. Their families still grieve for them here in Canada."

Bibi Unmasked

Justin Raimondo

In 2001, Bibi Netanyahu paid a condolence call on a group of Israeli settlers in the village of Ofra, widows whose husbands had been killed in the Intifada: the videotaped conversation has just been leaked, and broadcast by Israel's Channel 10, and it is a blockbuster. At one point, Bibi is telling the widows that the Palestinians "think they will break us," but don't worry, ladies, Bibi has a plan:

"To hit them. Not just one blow, but blows that are so painful that the price will be too heavy to be borne. The price is not too heavy to be borne, now. A broad attack on the Palestinian Authority. To bring them to the point of being afraid that everything is collapsing…

Omar Deghayes Complains About "Highly Selective" Disclosure of UK Documents Relating to his Interrogations in Bagram and Guantánamo

9/11: The Great Nose In -- Nose Out Hoax

Proving, conclusively, who was responsible for the video fakery. We know that the 9/11 Commission lied. Telling more lies, about what happened on that terrible day is an insult to the memories of those who died, and to those who want to see the true perpetrators of those dreadful crimes brought to justice.

Harvard Report Documents Media Bias and Misreporting

Posted: 17 Jul 2010 10:02 PM PDT

This writer's November 2009 article titled "Paid Lying: What Passes for Major Media Journalism" also discussed it in detail. It called major media journalism biased, irresponsible, and sensationalist - misreporting, distorting, exaggerating, misstating, or suppressing vital truths - serving state and corporate interests over the common good, including bankers controlling the nation's money, unpunished corruption at the highest levels, democracy for the select few, sham elections, a de facto one party state, imperial wars, occupation, and torture.

Israeli Apartheid and The Nakba

Posted: 17 Jul 2010 07:41 PM PDT

There can be absolutely no doubt that Israel has created an inhuman, illegal and utterly disgraceful Apartheid state, and the international community will never be able to excuse itself if it takes no action against this blatant, ongoing and in-plain-sight crime against humanity. Please join the millions of decent people around the world who are crying out against Israel's ongoing persecution of the Palestinians. Send the link to this video to your elected representative and make sure he or she does something about it. You have to ask yourself: If I keep quiet , will it ever end? This video started life being loosely based on the YouTube video: 'Press TV- Epilogue -Zionist Israel and Apartheid South Africa -02-24-2010', and uses some of its imagery, and wording. It was expanded into its present form to take into account the US vice president's recent visit to Israel and the announcement that Israel was to build yet more structures on the illegally occupied settlement of Beitar Illit. I wrote to Press TV to tell them what I was doing, but received no reply. In any event, I think that the issues are too important for anyone to be concerned about drawing from research done by others, and anyone who would like to use extracts from this video is welcome to do so.

Learning from Iran

Posted: 16 Jul 2010 04:30 AM PDT

Common Dreams
An article in the current issue of the AARP Bulletin is likely to get a "What's this?" reaction from many of its millions of readers. It is titled "Iranian Cure for the Delta's Blues," with the eye-opening subtitles: "Mississippi Looks to Iran's health care system"" "That model has improved health dramatically"; "Will it travel well to Baptist Town?"

The media has painted Iran as a backward third world country of 72 million people, who have little to teach us. Presidents Bush and Obama further a narrow view of Iran by looking at it through a military lens. Iranians do suffer from a lack of freedom of expression and widespread human rights abuses.

The Great Dick Cheney Empathy Test

Former Vice President Dick Cheney disclosed Wednesday that he has undergone surgery to install a small pump to help his heart work, as the 69-year-old enters a new phase of what he called "increasing congestive heart failure." -- Associated Press

Here's how it works. You read the story above. You note how Dick Cheney, former vice president, Bush babydaddy, sneermaster supreme, befouler of nations, lover of war, hater of, well, almost everything else -- has undergone yet another major heart operation, this time to place a little valve-assisting pump (called an LVAD) in his withered and long dysfunctional ticker.
