It was supposed to extend the rule of law to the corners of the world most lacking it. While the competitive advantage of cosmopolitan outlook and tribal coherence is - slowly but surely  - being eroded by the Internet, the real Jewish trump card - their ability to thrive where most other people are stopped by what used to be called 'nerve weakness' - has reached a point where it has become a threat to mankind as a whole. I'm talking about the uncanny Jewish ability to brush aside any bad conscience for the sake of profit. I'm talking about the traditional Jewish dominance of all kinds of dirty business: usury, drugs, prostitution, pornography, slavery, a dominance that exceeds their over-representation in less odious industries. And I'm talking about their escalating use of terrorism as a means of advancing their financial and political goals.

Can humans distinguish subtle genetic differences, even within the immediate family?  Apparently, grandmothers can do so, as explained in Molly Fox, et al., Grandma plays favourites: X-chromosome relatedness and sex-specific childhood mortality, published in Proceedings of the Royal Society B, in October of last year. The story is an excellent example of how evolutionary thinking sheds light on human behavior. As J. Philippe Rushton has theorized, the genes really do matter. People who share a greater percentage of genes favor each other compared to people with less genetic overlap.

Of Eggs and Zeros

Posted: 03 Jun 2010 12:29 PM PDT

The Humps and Palefeet, a gruff and unkempt sideline of the Germanic Teutons who initiated Rome's decline by rubbing out Quinctilius Varus and his legions in the Teutoburg Forest, dwelt before and during the Common Era some ten leagues downriver from present day Hamelin. Of a parochial temperament, did they espouse an accordingly meagre pantheon composed of only one deity, the Universal black Hen, who had laid one Egg only, our Globe. Though not exactly round as in fact it nearly is, was this an observation already far more accurate than the one held by numerous Popes for many centuries afterwards. Yet it had one serious flaw, namely the assumption that the Egg must have a yolk which they deemed to be pure gold. This was the reason why they dug extensive tunnels and ducts into the Wiehen mountains, though luckily never deep enough to burn their fingers. But they didn't find anything either, a clear lesson for those of their dumb descendants who believe, as the proverb goes, that gold is the yolk of the Egg.

Munich itself is, alas, bright red if not purplish, an unhealthy taint acquired through the alliance of mostly non-Bavarian Socialists, Greens, Turks and Gays who managed to overwhelm the city council and push the indigenous sauerkraut Bavarians flat against a wall.

Pratt & Whitney has supporters in high places. Pentagon Chief Robert Gates doesn't want the second engine, which would be built by General Electric and Rolls Royce, and neither does his Air Force. President Obama, too, has come out against the unnecessary spending.

More Spin from Israel

The Israeli commando assault on a flotilla bringing aid to Gaza which killed at least nine civilians should be a wake-up call for those who want to believe that Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu's government is capable of making rational decisions.  The flotilla, consisting of nationals from as many as twenty countries, was unarmed and carrying relief supplies that had been carefully inspected by the Turkish authorities.  It was in international waters when it was attacked.  More than 600 passengers and crew, apart from those who were killed, were subsequently arrested by Israel for refusing to identify themselves.  If all that is correct, then Tel Aviv is guilty of piracy, kidnapping, and murder while the armed attack on a Turkish flagged vessel might be construed as inviting a military response from NATO.  One of the vessels bore an American flag and there were at least eight US citizens on board, including a former ambassador and a USS Liberty survivor, suggesting that a strong reaction from Washington would not be inappropriate
