Candy Jones, born Jessica Arline Wilcox.

Candy Jones, a top American fashion model in the 1940s, became a CIA mind control victim.

Candy was a Manchurian Candidate-style agent for the US intelligence services, in the 1960s and 1970s, during the Cold War.

In 1972, Candy married 61-year-old radio presenter Long John Nebel.

Nebel began to notice that at certain times Candy's personality would temporarily change.

Candy's voice would change to that of another woman and she would appear cruel, mocking and cold.


Candy told Nebel that she had worked for the FBI and that there would be times when she might have to go out of town on occasion without giving a reason.

One night Candy tried to strangle Nebel 'in a professional military-style manner'.

Nebel suspected that the CIA had brainwashed Candy.

Nebel had practised hypnotism and decided to put Candy into a trance, ask some questions, and tape the results.

Marilyn Monroe was also a victim.

It emerged that in 1945 Candy had toured US military bases in the Philippines.

Candy had become ill, was admitted to a hospital in Leyte Gulf and met a Dr Gilbert Jensen.

In 1960, she met an old acquaintance, a retired army general.

He got her to agree to deliver mail for the FBI when travelling on business.

She was asked to deliver a letter to a man in San Francisco.

The man was Dr Gilbert Jensen.

She had dinner with Jensen, who told her he was working for the CIA.

Jensen 'persuaded her' to work for the CIA.

Jensen brainwashed Candy, using hypnotism and drug injections.

It was now possible for Candy to become 'Arlene', a person with a different manner and voice.

Candy, acting as Arlene, was sent on CIA missions.

Manchurian candidate Candy visited training camps, military bases and secret medical facilities.

She learnt how to cause explosions and kill with her bare hands.

Jensen put a lighted candle inside Candy's vagina without her feeling pain.

Jensen demonstrated this in front of 24 doctors at the CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia.

She was often stripped and tortured.
