About darn well time that Kate finally gets her own place! If you have been following "Kater's Daily Kapers" on her Youtube channel Katersoneseven you know she has been staying at Cory (smpfilms) Williams' place while she was in the United States but now she is venturing out and getting an apartment of her own for the first time.
You can always count on Cory to do something odd when they are in public like at a store and today was no exception. Kate was show a huge mixing bowl in the shape of a coffee mug (I was half expecting her to say "Do they have this in large?") when Cory rides past on a horse making sounds like hoofbeats ala Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Most of the rest of the video is Kate just beginning to make her new home an actual home and expressing appreciation to those who have sent her housewarming presents.
One of the old school Youtubers, Cory Williams (aka Mr Safety and the dude behind smpfilms) made a video recently where he asked his viewers "Why are you still on Youtube?"

The only person I recognized out of those who were in the video was Happy Cabbie (he makes a lot of balloon animals and stuff and has a great channel himself) but even though I haven't seen the others, doesn't mean I won't check out their channels and I suggest you do the same. Get to know these people and some of the others beyond those who you usually are subscribed to and follow. You will be suprised by the odd, wonderful, quirky folks who inhabit this Youtube universe.

Love the jetpack style camera rig he's wearing lol. I sorta half-expect him to lift off out of the frame. Here is the video that Cory was referencing from August 2006 where Renetto asked the question "Who are you, and why are you on Youtube?"
At the time he made this Renetto was one of the biggest youtubers, but he has been passed by a lot of others. He is still posting videos, so take a look if you're interested. I saw a tweet by themightythor (himself another longtime Youtuber) who said he thought that Cory's video (the 1st one on this post) would have probably been featured back in the old days of Youtube, so I thought I should do it myself. Because it's simply a good video and that's why we are here.
And finally, I have been subbed to Cory's SMP Films channel for a long time, but I've only discovered how truly odd and funny he is IRL (so to speak) by seeing him through the perspective of Katersoneseven herself an odd, quirky and funny transplanted Brit who is currently his roommate. Her channel is becoming one of my personal favorites and I recommend you check it out along with the ones listed above.
I really think that Katersoneseven is fast becoming one of my favorite Youtubers with this daily vlog she's been doing for a while now. Lately she's been staying at Mr Safety's abode. She's usually in England but she's over in the States these days. She was staying at her father's place as was seen in some of her December videos.
I have to say that I liked the shout out by Cory for Charles Trippy's "Inappropriate Toy" video when he was doing the disco, humping turtle at the store. And what is up with that razor blade letter opener thingy?
This is the video Charles Trippy filmed when they were in California earlier this month and that he has been working on since they got back. In their last CTFxC video, Charles was showing how he was putting together some of the music for this Halloween/Twilight themed video.
It looks like Charles/Edward scored big time lol. Also, this was filmed by Mr Safety of SMPfilms. The hot girl at the door was ChristaBelle28. Check out her videos! She's got about 38 posted (I liked A Real Woman's Workout).

Looks like Cory Williams is starting to feel a little long in the tooth in this latest video from smpfilms. Even his hair is starting to get a little gray. No need to worry about that though dude. My hair started showing traces of gray even while I was still in high school. Doesn't mean you aren't the hep, happenin' guy everyone wants to hang with. No, wait. I'm sitting in front of my computer writing a lame blog about YouTube. I just got the same panicky stare that Cory got at the end of his video.
Have you ever heard about the legend of Bloody Mary? Basically, if you say her name three times while looking in a mirror, and turn off the lights, when you turn them back on, Mary will be standing behind you and then KILL YOU! Mha-ha-ha-ha!
Actually that is an old urban myth. You should go now and prove it is not true - IF YOU DARE (cue evil manical laugh again). Cory Williams aka Mr Safety aka smpfilms puts his own twisted spin on the story and comes up with the video above.
The funny thing is that I just watched Supernatural where the brothers (Dean & Sam Winchester) have a run in with Bloody Mary in one of the earliest episodes of the series. I wonder if that's where Cory got the idea for doing this? Very creative and kinda spooky until the end.
