Katers17 Plays Left 4 Dead 2 with Her Dad And Shows Some Pictures

This is the kind of vlog that I really like: an interesting person (Kate17 or Kate) doing a personal vlog in different locations and sharing images and memories from their past.

I've been subbed to Kate for a while and always enjoy her videos for some reason. It may be the accent - English and other european accents always seem to be so hot. But that's not the only reason I watch her videos. It's the little clips like the shot of Left 4 Dead 2 "You are so getting played tonight" and then immediately switches to a blingy watch. And it is the little things like that car that shocks her and the annoying door. Little vignettes that are interesting.

But it is when Kate is with her father showing some pictures from her childhood (I thought she was going to cry a bit when she mentioned her cat) and it was nice seeing how proud she is of her dad. I would have never guessed that her father was from Alaska until Kate mentioned that he was half native Alaskan. And then she introduced him to the wonderful world of video games. Seems like it was a nice night.

Katers: A Near Deadly Helicopter Encounter And A Pulsating Wand

One of the UK vlogs I do follow (and you should too) is from Kate, or Katers17 on Youtube. Her vlog, which she just started at the end of September 2010, is Katersoneseven and I for one think it is already one of the better vlogs coming out of the UK (feel free to disagree of course, but you're wrong) and she already has 6,152 subscribers watching "Katers Daily Capers". She has of course, a well-established channel called katers17 (with 76K subs, making her the 57th most subscribed in the UK) that you might want to check out.

Below are a couple of recent videos on her Katersoneseven daily vlogging channel that I thought you might enjoy. First, she almost has a mishap with a helicopter followed by a return visit to the store where she picked up a magic wand.

I didn't know that she had been featured in that article in Venuszine, but here's a link to the article she was showing called 5 Young Video Bloggers to Watch. I'm unfamiliar with most of the other names of Youtubers they feel you should be watching except for Nanalew, who is a great Canadian vlogger who I'm also stalking, I mean, subscribed to. Still, thumbs up to the magazine, for having the same good sense to feature Katers.

I did like seeing the shopping part, which is saying a lot because as a dude we usually find even the concept of shopping abhorrent, but after the part about the purses and dresses, she wanders into RED5 which is a cool gadget store in the UK with tons of technological nik naks and even those fairy jars look interesting (maybe a Christmas gift?)

She does get dive-bombed by the grinning clerk at the store. Don't you hate those guys who get to play with toys and video games all day and call it "work"? Katers of course plans her revenge of returning to the store and hopefully getting a free toy because of the danger the guy placed her in and I don't blame her. You will see the results of her 2nd visit to the RED5 store in the next video.

But before that, she stops at her friend Amy's for some Zelda as well as trying the Leapin' Lizards Nature Puzzle.

As you can see, she did get store credit for her near death experience, but the store got her back by selling her that wand that so far does not seem to work. Although it may be because it is in the hands of a muggle. Wouldn't that be a great sales gimmick? "Here's a magic wand, but aw, you're a muggle so it doesn't work for your kind. A refund? Defective? No, sorry, the product is fine, it's who's operating it that's defective!"

Women With Moustaches for Movember?

Usually seeing a woman with a mostache is kind of creepy in itself, but for some reason I found Katers17's facial hair oddly appealing.

November is of course "No Shave November" and guys are growing out some awesome stashes as part of the annual event to raise moola for battling cancer that affects men. You can find out more at movember.com, and what is happening near you.

But women are also trying to raise awareness for the event as seen by Katers17 (Kate to her friends) and she features another website supporting the cause that I for one didn't know about: MovemberGirls.com

Is it just me or does she look like the guy in the mask from V For Vendetta? That makes me wonder about my previous statement about her looking appealing. Sometimes I think I am one odd boy lol.

Question: Are you growing a moustache for the month of November? I've actually not shaven all month so far and bear a striking resemblence to a sasquatch.

Prankhouse: Charles Trippy Jumps 4 Dudes On A Moped

Lol at Charles Trippy as he jumps a bunch of guys with a little motor bike. It looks like it is some kind of music rehearsal area (actually it's the Prankhouse) and Charles and a all these dudes have built a ramp and Charles is shown jumping over some brave friends. Unless they are some unknowing passers-by who were given $5 each to lie in front of the ramp. "Honest guys, he's a trained professional stunt motorcyclist! I swear!" Check out Charles' personal channel at Charles Trippy.

The girls at 0:43 look thoroughly impressed lol. I can just imagine Alli Speed with that exact same look on her face when she saw this. And love that the one guy is also wearing a helmet as Charles and the bike whip past his unprotected gut. Kids, DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!! You'll end up on YouTube (Probably in a Ray William Johnson =3 video).

There's some "behind the scenes" stuff on Charles and Alli's main channel, CTFxC. Cannot believe those guys actually ate the bugs!

Make sure you check out all the Prankhouse crew over at Prankhouse. Lots of cool stuff to watch there - plus, there's a lively discussion board over on there Facebook page: Prank House Discussions. So get you sorry behinds over to that page and follow what Charles Trippy, Shay Carl, KeepTheHeat, ForSkitsAndGiggles, PrankVsPrank, SuperEd86, Katers17, Peter Chao, SidneyRaz, Corey Vidal, MattG124 and MrSafety are all doing.
