America accepted immigrants from Europe if

1-They were Anglo Saxons or West Europeans-First Priority
2-White including Latin Americans and Christian-Still good
3-Jewish and white-Third priority but OK
4-Chinese, Japanese Korean mostly Christian-Fourth level
5-Chinese , Japanese,Korean non Christian-Fifth priority
6-Mexicans,Mestizo,Mixed breeeds of miscellaneous models from central and south america despicable but acceptable
7-Blacks Christians ,more despicable but acceptable
8-Muslims , not liked , not trusted but acceptable for certain jobs as a showcase model

The West is racially biased and their civilisations basis is Christainity deformed into a pagan racist form ,more Pagan and pre Christian.

Colour is a major bias and if its a case of white or black being Christian is low priority , the way the Brits handled the Anglo Indians and low caste Indo Pak converts or Black African converts

I first visited USA in 1996 , had a multiple visa till 2002 and found a bias against Muslims and Pakistanis specially.

This is long before 9/11.

In 2004 an American in Kabul showed a letter that US citizens were not to visit any Pakistani or Muslims residence for lunch or dinner as they may be abducted.

More specfically the NATO and US are biased against Pashtuns as compared to Non Pashtuns.Pakistanis are regarded as extremely dangerous and untrustworthy while some Muslim nationalities like Turks and Lebanese were more preferred.

Indeed leading American and NATO advisors played a pivotal role in placing discriminatory tarriffs against Pakistani goods exported to Afghanistan.

Although there were few incidents of attacks on US/NATO supplies to Afghanistan via Pakistan till 2008, mysterious attacks started in 2008.Although these were few , they were used as justification to rely on the Central Asian route.In the background was a US/NATO theory that the Pashtuns who were in forefront of anti NATO Talibans were gaining most from transporting NATO supplies through Pakistan and these must be punished.Thus the major losers in NATOs shift in 2008 to Central Asia for supplies were Pakistans pashtun transporters.

Mysterious US and Euro South African security companies actually all intelligence set ups like Dyncorps SSSI , Blackwater gave preference in recruits to non Pashtun Afghans and most actually preferred Ismaili Hazaras who the Euro Americans see as good Muslims.

The balancing factor was USA/NATOs distrust of the Pakistani military who they never trusted even after Musharrafs so called U turn.

Much later we discovered that Musharraf did succeed in bluffing the US/NATO in Afghanistan.This indeed was the major reason why the PPP was brought alongwith the new faces in the Pakistani military.

History will decide how far Musharraf succeeded and how far he failed in his U turn or double U turn.

The Pakistani military became a casualty of the land mines that it had created while using Islam for short term arousal like a wonder drug.The resultant arousal was long term and the Islamists have the potential to take over Pakistan.

The Pashtuns were regarded as suspects and if there was a choice these companies preferred non Pashtuns.

Even in Pakistan the US companies prefer Khattak and Yusufzai Pashtuns over the FATA Pashtuns.

Leading international donor ADB refused to finance Afghanistan Pakistan railways project and instead financed Uzbek Afghan railway.All manipualted by G8 and US/NATO who see Central Asia as a chattel subsidiary of Christian Russia.

Indeed since demise of USSR Russians are viewed in more favourable light as Europe sees them as born again Christians.

I worked in Russia in 1995-96 and found them not biased against Muslims since the USSR was multi ethnic and religious.

Most Pakistanis who went to UK were from low income groups like the Mirpuris.They did well and naturally loyal to UK.

Their second and third generations were used by British intelligence to create the Islamist genie in Balkans and Afghanistan/Pakistan/Kashmir.Its very complicated.

Ireland has mostly doctors.Australia New Zealand has also mostly educated Pakistanis

USA had also the same low income group mostly Gujrat,Bhimbhar,AJK,Pindi,Jhelum and Mardan ,Charsadda and Peshawar.

Some doctors and lawyers also migrated to USA and distunguished themselves.

Canada has the largest number of educated Pakistani professionals mostly engineers lawyers doctors.

West Europe including Scandinavia,Germany,France,Italy,Spain is a Punjabi preserve with low income groups from Gujrat,Pindi Division,Central Punjab doing menial jobs.

Naturally these expatriates are loyal to their adopted country but many are highly patriotic.

At the same time they are a good target for foreign intelligence agencies as has been the case in UK and USA.

Their remittances have played a major role in Pakistans economy.

As a rule their is a bias against Muslims , even if you are a non practising Muslim.

Only a few preferred Pakistanis or Muslims who have absolutely sold their souls like Zalmay Khalil zad or Moin Qureshi may be trusted.

In Afghanistan such has been the mistrust that when I started business as manager of a security set up I was told that Americans and NATO only preferred Gurkha Guards because they were non Muslim .Eventually I ended up supplying Gurkha guards.The Afghans that we supplied were only used in outermost perimeters where they often died or suffered wounds in suicide attacks.The same is the case in Iraq.

In Afghanistan the Britishers and NATO/US preferred Hazaras of Ismaili sect and most security guards recruited were Ismaili Hazaras.

In 2002 a theory had been perfected that Shia Sunni conflict was USAs best bet but since then this theory has been disproved.Iran has shown more nerve and spine in even supporting Sunni states like Hamas and Sudan while Pakistan a sunni state has proved the most shameless.

Every Muslim in West in any responsible position spends his life in proving that he is loyal to West and still never goes beyond a certain rank or position.

To summarise :--

1-The West has deep racial and religious biases.

2-The West biases are pre 9/11 although 9/11 multiplied them.

3-The expatriates are distrusted by both their original countries and adopted countries.

4-The bias is more anti Muslim first , racial second and , at the third level anti Pashtun , anti Pakistani .

Their is no doubt that most who migrated were economic migrants . They did well , their children got more opportunities , but nothing glorious because a question mark will always remain on their loyalties.Its a complicated position difficult to analyse.

These are lost souls with confused identity , divided loyalties and regarded as third rate citizens in the countries they adopted as their father states.

9/11 was the turning point and the ultimate may be exodus .
