I read in the paper today that there is now a service that can provide desperate guys with a virtual girlfriend via Facebook. The service is provided by
Cloud Girlfriend who will employ real people to act as girlfriends to users on Facebook by posting affectionate messages on walls to give the illusion that they are in a long distance relationship.
Cloud Girlfriend sum it up as a process of 5 steps.
Step 1: Define your perfect girlfriend.
Step 2: We bring her into existence.
Step 3: Connect and interact with her publicly on your favorite social network
Step 4: Enjoy a public long distance relationship with your perfect girl.
Creepy stuff, though apparently they have been inundated with applications and can't promise everyone a virtual woman.
