Wheezy Waiter Flies To Close To The Sun

It's Explosion Wednesday!! Well, it might not be wednesday when you read this, so it will be that much more of a surprise. I don't know if I'm going to make random Explosion Wednesday videos from Wheezy Waiter a thing or not. We'll have to see how it goes.

Craig read that someday the sun may expand and possibly engulf the earth, but by that time he and his viewers will likely be all gone - unless he uses his clone machine to keep on living by having another Wheezy taking his place when he kicks off. That's a scary thought, not just because of the thought of an Wheezy Waiter running around forever and ever, but because of the degradation factor.

Think about it: every time he clones himself the resulting clone would be "off" just a touch. After a million years he might be all beard and no scalp hair! And be stuck with the banjo face (see 1:43 lol).

And in case you missed it, here's his last video called "I Love It When The Coffee's Done!" Some days I wish I could just say "Un-Do!" and reverse my actions. And Craig-a-ty-Craig-with-a-wig got a hair cut. You'll have to see for yourself how that turns out.

Wheezy Waiter: How to Become World Famous On YouTube Overnight

Aha! So that's it! The secret to becoming the next YouTube sensation is to stand outside in a hotdog costume, spin a globe on your head and quote Shakespeare. Me, I've been doing that EXACT SAME THING! Only I've been quoting Charles Dickens (he's such a hack). Oh, and having a camera might help too. Otherwise, all I get is strange stares from the neighbors, but that's not unusual. I did make $1.25 from kind passers-by which is nice.

Actually Wheezy Waiter did let us know that his own success hasn't been overnight. He had a grand total of 32 subscribers after posting 100 videos. Wow. I haven't posted ANY videos yet and I have 17 subs. Yes 17 brave souls have subbed to my channel (DellBoy010 if you want to get in on the ground floor). Right now I have more than half the number that Wheezy had after doing all that work to upload 100 videos. Actually go to his channel and watch them all and you'll see the changes he and his channel have gone to get to this point.

With ordinary talent & extraordinary perseverance, all things are attainable - I just like that quote :)

I'm not saying Wheezy has ordinary talent (although he might surely disagree), but like he said, he kept on making videos and slowly build a fairly decent following. It's just been recently that so many other folks are discovering that he is a very funny dude. It was only around mid-June 2010 that he hit the 100,000 subscriber mark (see: Wheezy Waiter Says Thanks To 100,000 Fans & Quits YouTube!) and in the time since then, he has 114,581. So he is well on his way to making it to the 200,000 level.

He now has 350 videos on YouTube. That is a lot of work in order to become an overnight sensation on YouTube. Be like Wheezy (I'll bet he never expected to become an example of what to do to become famous).

Have you seen the Wheezy's commercial for the Ford Fiesta?

Wheezy Waiter: Impressionable Clones & Handstands

It seems that Craig clones are prone to suggestion. The clones in Wheezy Waiter's apartment have multiplied during his absence to Los Angeles for VidCon and it seems to me that he needs a Wheezy clone wrangler. You would think that Ty The Regular Guy would have a handle on the all the Wheezys, but not to be. I guess Ty is too busy in his career as a coffee shop girl wrangler.

But it was good to see Craig getting some exercise. He needs to stay in tip top form in case of the Wheezy clones banding together and toppling him from power. But then again the clones don't seem too bright. After all they are just knockoffs of the original. ("Wait. Was that a slam?" Yes, yes it was.) And does Wheezy's tummy have a beard?

Blogmeister (Blogmistress?) Jessica Knows Plumbing & YouTube

Jessica Gottlieb is someone I follow on Twitter and I spotted that she had just uploaded the above video to YouTube, so I thought I would surprise her by reviewing it. Jessica is actually a blogger herself, and her blog at jessicagottlieb.com where she gets to rant/cajole/answer any number of topics. She also has a YouTube channel (link above), and currently has 103 subs. She has posted about 60-70 videos in the last year, with most posted within the last 6 months. That's showing a lot of dedication and I think given some more time, Jessica should be able to get more subscribers on YouTube as well.

The video shows what you can do to remedy the situation that could occur when you dump a bunch of rice or just about anything down the kitchen drain. Ya gotta love a woman who knows how to fix her own plumbing problems, and is willing to jump in there and get it done herself. Who needs some sweaty dude flashing butt cleave lurking under your sink?

I took a look at some of her other videos and the one below she descibes her experience attending VidCon (and being mistaken for the mother of
Ben Hughes from "ObviouslyBenHughes"). Very cool that she went to the L.A. event and hopefully I'll see her at the next one.

One thing that really raised Jessica's stock in my book is that she mentioned she was subbed to Wheezy Waiter who, if you follow Bradshaw's Blog, you know that he's also one of my personal favorites on YouTube.

Jessica can also be followed on Twitter at JessicaGottlieb where she has over 15,000 followers. So if you follow Jessica on Twitter, you should probably also sub to her on YouTube and get her subscriber numbers up to where they should be!

Wheezy Waiter Teleports Home

About dang time that Wheezy Waiter finally put up a new video. He was having so much time having chuckles and giggles in L.A. for VidCon that he almost forgot about us, but lucky for us (mostly lucky for him), he blinked himself, almost in an I Dream Of Jeannie-like fashion back home to Chicago. Actually I guess it would properly be called "I Dream Of Wheezy", but the though of Wheezy wearing a harum suit... well, I really don't want to plant that image in your brain.

Also, he mentions that he wants to present next time if there is a VidCon 2.0 (that would be AWESOME) and tells John & Hank Green that he is putting his name forward, I guess to do a Question and Answer thingy. Expect explosions and a lot of winks. If he's going to be on the menu (sorta sounds like we would be eating Wheezy - I get a drum stick!), I'll definitely be attending. Both Hank and John Green have been quoted as saying they would like to put on another VidCon (Yea!) even though this experience was very tiring.

One person I sort of expected to see upon Wheezy's return was Ty The Regular Guy, but after all the havoc he created in the last video by unbuttoning his collar (Ty can morph into such a wild man in Wheezy's absence), Ty probably cleared out just before Wheezy blinked home.

In case you don't know, Wheezy also tweeted that he was leaving his job and was going to be doing videos fulltime (awesome) and recently crossed the 100K subscriber level. He's actually up to 112,680 subs. So this is good news for fans of this quirky dude. If you want to follow him on twitter, you can stalk..., I mean follow, him at wheezywaiter.

Shaytards Q & A at VidCon In 3 Parts: Because Of The Extra Shay

Before the Shaytards come to answer questions, TheWillofDC lets us know the the vlogbrothers had just jumped up the alltime subscribers list into the top 100 (very long overdue IMHO). Then out trots The Beard That Walks Like A Man, Shay Carl, along with his hot wife, Katilette to answer some questions from VidCon attendees. These three videos were posted by SuperInternets who has many more VidCon videos of other big name Youtubers who spoke at VidCon (check out Phil DeFranco among others).

The dude running around getting people's questions for Shay & Katilette is of course the one, the only, Mr KassemG, who does a great job. I of course only wish it could have gone on for a bit longer (That's what she said).

What I really liked about this third clip is that Shay acknowledged one of my own favorite youtubers, Wheezy Waiter. Shay mentioned Wheezy having tweeted about being able to quit his fulltime job and just make videos as his job. That is AWESOME. I'm on Wheezy's twitter (that's sounds dirty) but in the flow of all the tweets I get, somehow I missed that. So a shout out to him is in order. Also Wheezy hit 100K subs as mentioned in this post Wheezy Waiter Says Thanks To 100,000 Fans & Quits YouTube!.

But back to Shay and the lovely Katilette. My only criticism is that Katilette didn't get a chance to answer some more questions. Still cool to see them there and of course Rocktard putting in a cameo appearance - along with his stunt double.
