This is Poetic Phophet (aka Chuck) and this is a man with a lot to say about SEO (search engine optimisation, dun know). Hip-hop has always been a sphere that celebrates betterment and is, by it's very nature, a capitalist enterprise (I've debated this on so many occasions that I'm tired of it). Therefore it follows that in this day-and-age of new media and crowded music industry getting your myspace, bandcamp or website up the "Page Ranking" can be a shrewd move, and predicate the all important "hit" ratings that artists and label agonise over in equal measure.
This of course spills over into any market or industry, indeed "Chuck" does this consulting on the subject for a living. Given the turgid nature of the subject I think the big man deserves some props on making it completely accessible and, dare I say it...Interesting?
