Phil DeFranco And LinzLoves And Their Trip Through Italy

If you are subscribed to Philip DeFranco on one of his channels on Youtube you may have noticed that he was taking a couple of weeks off to travel over to Europe with his lovely girlfriend LinzLoves. They spent some time in Itlay, specifically Rome and then in Venice and Florence before heading over to Amsterdam.

Most of the videos of what they saw and did were posted on Linz' Youtube channel (link given above) and you might want to subscribe to her's for more of her videos of her trips to Rome and London prior to this one she made with Phil.

This first video is of them in Venice. I have not had the chance to see Europe, so if you have not been there yet yourself, here's a good chance to see some of the sights.



After Venice they went over to Florence which is one of the old cities of Italy (I know they are all old cities, but I mean compared to the US and Canada).



A little bit more of the sightseeing in Florence, some museums etc.



This was towards the end of the Italy leg of their trip. Nice mask Phil lol. It does look like that wine festival would be an interesting stop.



Finally, they are about to leave Italy and head over to Amsterdam. It seems like they are having a great time all through this trip. In case you are wondering, they spent most of their evenings at hostels rather than expensive hotels. It looks like the sort of trip most of us would love to take. A beautiful girl, good food and terrific scenery. I'm envious as hell Phil lol.



And after they had returned to the United States, Phil posted this video of their trip, teasingly entitled "Secret Venice Proposal". If you read many of the comments on these videos, a lot of viewers were yelling and proding Phil to "Marry that girl Phil!" and comments like that. Many did seem to think that they thought that Phil might propose to Linz or something, but that of course is their own business. Who knows, maybe he proposed before they went, or maybe he did over there. Or not. Not really any of my business or your's. It seems like what they were doing was taking some time off and getting some time away together which is always important. Anyway, here's some more of their time in Venice.

Phil DeFranco Finds His Own Glitch In The Matrix

I had to share this video of PhilipDeFranco mentioning that he might do a college tour. As he was talking about it I was thinking "just like a Youtube gathering" and he said just like a meet and greet. That's actually pretty cool. PhillyD ~ coming to the quad. If I was at college I would probably go see him. Anyway, check out the video below:



I found it interesting when he was talking about how shy he was as a child to even speaking with other people and he would "go into shut down mode." I can SO relate to that. I still have that problem when meeting new people I usually keep very quiet myself and try to fade into the background. After I get to know them, I can interact like a normal person, but I do understand what Phil's talking about here.

LOL, that was so out of left field. But then he goes back into his fear of talking and how by doing these vlogs he feels that he has been able to overcome that fear to a certain extent. It's his own personal "glitch in the Matrix." He "found a loophole where he can talk to himself."

It sort of makes me wonder if it would work for me too. I've been considering making vlogs on Youtube for a while now, but I've been a little nervous about doing it. I know I can string together some coherent phrases, but would it play in YoutubeLand? Maybe I should try. I opened my Youtube account because I wanted to see Phil's videos so maybe use him as an example to get me actually doing videos... okay, that was somewhat cathartic lol. I'm better now. Let's get back to Phil's video.

Phil's heading off to Rome at the end of the week. I'm wondering if he and his girlfriend LinzLoves are going. She did a series of vlogs about her trip to Rome recently. I just checked and I didn't post anything on here about that like I had planned, but check out her channel at the link above.

Phil DeFranco Decusses The Super Bowl And Kim Kardashian's Sublime Buttocks

After watching that last video on his vlog channel, in my Youtube inbox was the "Philip DeFranco Show". This was the first video since the middle of last week although as Phil mentions, his editor Matty triumphantly filled in for him. One thing I'm glad Matt didn't say at the end of the vlog he did was they we were "Matted in" which would have sounded wrong on many levels. In this one, Phil discusses the Super Bowl and all the hoopla (yes, there was hoopla) with the commercials, the halftime show etc.



We do get a chance to see the spherical wonders that make up the booty of Kim Kardashian as she appeared in some shoe commercial. Yes, Kim's bottom is one of a kind (well, two of a kind if you think about it). Being Canadian, we don't get to see the same commercials as those south of the border so I didn't see the guest appearance of the rump that walks like a Kardashian. In Canada we get ads for bikes on sale at Canadian Tire and news about the latest Bagel Belts at Tim Hortons (Yeeeaaaa).

I did hear about the sale of The Huffington Post to AOL which is an interesting turn. AOL rears it's ugly snout once more. As a blogger, seeing the money being shovelled in the direction of Arianna Huffington I do want to write more. Maybe I can turn this lamea$$ blog into the next HuffPo? Doubtful, but dare to dream.

Some what do you take away from these two videos besides Kim Kardashian's tukus? Phil might be doing a college tour which is interesting. He's also giving away some of those posters - if you want to enter the contest, you will have to go to Youtube, like, favorite and comment on the 2nd video.

Tobuscus And iJustine Are Dating?! Dispelling The Rumors

"Intro of darkness, then redness, then whiteness! What?! Audience? What are you doing staring at ijustine?"

No, that's not how this latest video from Toby Turner (aka Tobuscus) could have started but it may as well have. Recently Toby and iJustine have been seen together in several of each other's videos and that of course set tongues wagging and sent the Youtube rumor mill into a frenzy: "Have you heard that iJustine is seeing Tobuscus?" and "Toby Turner is dating IJ?!", so they made the video below, with their little Youtube love child:



Yeah, THAT'S going to dispel the rumors lol. iJustine and Toby went shopping for babies? When Toby was vlogging he mentioned that she had vlogged "the same thing" just before he did, so if IJ does post her version of the parking lot baby fiasco I will post it on here as well so we can get her story. But I think this will be the end of it. After all IJ is my secret Internet girlfriend (so secret she doesn't even know about it) but we won't see them together again in another video for a while.

Or will we?



GOOD GOD! There's Tobuscus again, watching the Super Bowl with iJustine, LinzLoves, Philip DeFranco, Matty and some other dude that I didn't recognise.

Phil got the eventual winner correct, although I was rooting for the Steelers myself. My last name is BRADSHAW as in Terry Bradshaw (great Steelers QB from the 1970s). Always gotta go with Pittsburgh otherwise Uncle Terry will be giving me the stink eye over the potato salad at our next family reunion. Liked Matty's answer when asked who would win (Cowboys).

So there is no way to tell if they are actually dating or not, although I think they are just friends, Youtube buddies, enjoying each other's company. So all you fanboys and girls, relax. Besides even if they were seeing each other socially it would be NONYA (none of your dang business).

And unfortunately it looks like the Packers ended up beating Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl, but my support for the Steelers remains undiminished. Steelers in 2012!

LinzLoves Behind The Scenes At Maroon 5 Video Shoot

I was just on Twitter and LinzLoves tweeted that she was going to go see a video that the band Maroon 5 was making at the nearby Santa Monica Pier so she grabbed her camera to shoot some behind the scenes stuff:



I was reading some of the comments that viewers were leaving Linz and they asked about all the various people sneaking in to the shot and having their picture taken and Linz mentioned that they were supposed to do that. I was half expecting her to make a beeline herself, but I'm guessing Linz was a bit embarrassed to do it (she really should have though lol). Maybe she's just too much of a fangirl herself as she wrote on the video "Adam Levine is sex on a stick" but hey, we all have our celeb crushes right?

Don't know what you think about Maroon 5, I liked that song they had a few years back called "This Love" - a very unique sound to lead singer Adam Levine's voice.

Like I said, I found out about this from following Linz on Twitter and you can follow her @LinzLuvs. She had another Twitter handle but started this one (unfortunately some else has "LinzLoves", but this is close enough). She found out about the video being shot because she follows Adam Levine on Twitter (he's @adamlevine). I guess that's one of the perks of living in California - you're nearby when this stuff goes down. Not much happens in my remote part of the Great White North (Canada), although I used to see tons of film crews and stars when I lived in Vancouver. But, through the magic of Youtube, Linz has us there too.

PhillyD Pimps Out Matty In Vegas

LOL, love this. If you haven't seen Philip DeFranco's latest videos one of the things he's doing is trying to set up one of the guys in his office with a lovely girl on the Internet. The guy is Matt (everyone calls him Matty) and he is the editor at DeFranco Studios and he seems nice enough. There's been quite a response according to what Phil has been saying so the guys load up the car and head to Las Vegas. First, here's the video where Phil sorta "cyber-pimps" Matty out.

Lol Matt is like "this is a terrible idea" but he's thinkin' "Matty's gonna get some!" Love that part where Phil is asking people what sort of girl Matty should have and Phil says he though that David was about to say "Matty should roll through some hoodrats" and that maybe Matty might like a cougar. But he may come into work all busted up if he hooks up with a hot older lady. Maybe he should stick to around 18 to mid-to-late 20s. And a working knowledge of the Star Wars universe lol.

So I follow Phil on Twitter (@PhillyD if you don't already) and he's been tweeting updates on the "Win A Date With Matty" contest (is it a contest?) and he posted the video below of their Vegas excursion and Matty meeting up with Sarah who had submitted a video response. If you still want to grab your own piece of Matty, feel free to upload a video to Phil's channel. I think it is still Game On.



Liked seeing Phil's hot girlfriend LinzLoves who as he mentions to Matty that he sorta met over the Interwebs. I think Phil said before she was at a gathering and they just sort of went from there. So ya see Matty? Not all the women out there are crazy!

Sxephil: WikiLeaks, Ruminations On A Tubby Kevin Smith And Phil Is A Misogynist Pig?!

Just finished getting my daily fix of Phillip DeFranco and he covered some of the big news stories we need to know about. I have been following the WikiLeaks story since it broke and it does seem that "someone" has it in for Julian Assange after he handed over information the U.S. government deemed potentially damaging to foreign relations. And now Assange is in jail without bail on a charge that may or may not have merit. Hmmm....



And as far as the Kardashian story, all I can say is why didn't the celebs just kick in some money if they believed so strongly in the charity? It is an excellent charity and deserves lots of support, but it seems Kimmy and her cohorts could have remedied the situation by simply tossing some of their own long green bills behind the charity rather than coaxing a rich pharma-dude into parting with his money.

I agree Kevin Smith needs to re-assess. Smith is all kinds of awesome, he makes funny stuff (not always but more than most) and when I found out he likes hockey, that made the man golden - I'm Canadian so if you are original AND funny AND share and share my affection for the best sport in the world. He does unfortunately cheer for the New Jersey Devils and on the Canadian side has an unhealthy appreciation for the show Degrassi but you have to overlook some character flaws and foibles to make the relationship work. Phil DeFranco Explains Why He Posts Hot Girls On PhillyD.tv

Phil must get a lot of comments from women complaining about some of the pictures he puts up over at his blog (PhillyD.tv for the uninitiated) and they say he must hate women because of the pictures he puts up. Here's Phil explaining:



Hey, I have no problem with the pictures he puts up. Sure some are gratuitous, and just steamy, hot, barely dressed... hot... oh, sorry, I was distracted there. All I can say is if you don't like the pictures - don't look at them. There is a lot worse posted all over the Internet that I (and you) should have a problem with rather than some cheesy pictures of pretty girls, wearing... hot, girls...

Phil's girlfriend, the lovely LinzLoves (check out her channel) is okay with it, and seems to trust him, so maybe you should MYOB. If you don't like it, don't look at the pictures. With all the stuff online, getting wound up about these shots is just counter-productive.

As far as Phil girlfriend, Linz, she's been uploading videos on her channel about her trip to Italy and I was going to post something about her trip, so expect something in the next few days (or just go to her channel and watch all her videos).

LinzLoves Does The Royal British Museum & Tower Of London

If you are subscribed to LinzLoves, you know that she just travelled to London England all by her lonesome and this is her first video of her time over there. Day 1: The British Museum.



I am a huge history buff and love all the statues and history that permeates through the British Museum. Never been there myself, but maybe someday. Did you see the Rosetta Stone at about 4:22? That alone is one of the historically significant pieces at the museum. In case you didn't know, the Rosetta Stone was found by Napolean Bonapartes troops during their expedition to Egypt in 1799 and proved to be the key to decyphering the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs because it has a decree written in ancient Greek and the same text written in hieroglyphics. I'll stop with the history lesson now lol.

After the British Museum, she heads off to the Tower of London where so many gruesome executions took place. I agree with what Linz says about taking a guided tour of the Tower being best. There is too much history wrapped up in that English icon that will be missed if you don't have someone pointing it out for you.

At about this point, her camera went bonkers on her but she said the rest of her trip was all recorded on one camera, so that should be good.

PhillyD As A Published Author?

First off, it looks like PhilipDeFranco will be without his hot girlfriend LinzLoves because she is going to London for a week (and you can expect some travel vlogs of her trip). As always, PhillyD will be busy back home.



I actually saw that Linz was going to England while watching 3 girls 1 grill by Olga Kay, so I didn't think that Phil & Linz were splittin' up or anything.

It was funny watching Phil trying to come up with something he "loved more than Linz" and he was definitely stuck lol. PhillyD's mad about this girl. But what do you think about Phil DeFranco possibly writing a book? I think it would be interesting. Like he's said, he's had an odd life for about the last 5 years. Phil was going on about the reaction to his tweet about skating through life and any backlash he got for his comments about the world being "filled with C students." Also, if you aren't following him on Twitter, you can find him at @PhillyD.

Do you think Phil should write a book about his life and YouTube experiences? And would you but that book? I think I would definitely read it. His videos were one of the reasons I got a YouTube account and he does come up with some clever stuff, so I think the story of his YouTube experiences might prove interesting reading material.

New Channel By LinzLoves

Here is the first video by LinzLoves. She explains what her plans are for the channel and is asking for suggestions and ideas. She already has 15,701 subscribers! Linz is the girlfriend of Phil DeFranco, one of the top Youtubers (his main channel is sxephil which has well over a million subscribers).

Phil put a link to Linz' new channel and a bunch of his subs quickly spotted it and subbed - myself included. Although a lot of her subs are curtesy of Phil, mostly out of curiousity, Linz has been on Youtube before and has been seen in the background of several of DeFranco's videos, and many youtubers have wondered who the heck is the hottie Phil's so smitten with. I've seen several videos where Phil and Linz go to a social event filmed by other famous youtubers like Shay Carl or ijustine and you see glimpses of the elusive Linz but never really get a chance to get her on camera TALKING.

That is what this channel will likely be about - as she mentions in the video above. She also mentioned that she had set a personal blog at LinzLoves.com and I'll provide some link love by adding it to the blogs I follow on the sidebar (down, down the right side... keep scrolling til you find them). Her blog will primarily be her opinions about what she thinks about products or experiences she should try and then let readers know what's worth checking into. She suggested one idea of her enrolling at a trapese school which should prove interesting to see. And she promises a video with another of my favorite youtubers, Olga Kay (did you know that Olga has the Internet by the balls?).

I'm looking forward to seeing what Linz brings to the table. She does seem able to speak in front of a camera in a coherent manner without too many ums and uhs and is obviously attractive (always a plus).

Must admit I saw her new video in my dashboard and thought for a split second "Who is this pretty girl I subbed to?" and then realized it was the long anticipated first video and quickly clicked to watch. It does seem to me that most of what she will show will be more targeted to the female audience of Youtube, but that does kinda work like a yin/yang with Phil's style which I think is more for a guy's tastes (boobs - we like'm). She's got that first video under her belt so I'll give her a chance and wish her much success.
