CTFxC: Charles And Alli At Lollapalooza

Charles Trippy and Alli Speed get to go to some pretty wild places and events and luckily they upload them to their CTFxC Youtube channel for all of us to share. In this video they, along with Shay Carl, Casey (Shay's brother), Lisa Nova, BrettTheIntern, and KassemG are going to Lollapalooza 2011 and their video below shows a ton of great behind the scenes stuff. Oh yeah, and Nice Peter is in the mix somewhere too.

The bands that played today (August 6th) were: J. Roddy Walston & the Business, Fitz & The Tantrums, Mayer Hawthorne & The Country, Big Audio Dynamite, Local Natives, Deftones, My Morning Jacket, Grouplove, Walk the Moon, Black Lips, Death From Above 1979, Ween, Beats Antique and Coldplay doing an encore after their great show Friday (the one Alli and Charles were at).

Lot's of great bands, Charles talks with Sonny Moore from Skrillex who in the past has let Charles use some of his tunage. Also, there's a great scene when Alli and Charles are listening to Coldplay where he explains Alli is crying because they will be walking down the aisle (fairly soon!) to Coldplay's "In My Place" (which was the song playing when Charles proposed to Alli in Spain. If you haven't seen it, that's the link).

Make sure that you tune in to the official Lollapalooza webstream which will be broadcast live. So far you may have missed the first two days but you can watch ALL of the third day (including the Foo Fighters).

If you want to see clips of Coldplay and all of the other bands onstage that you've missed you can find them there too. They have two channels available so if you aren't interested in one band you can switch over to another.

Shay Carl Invades Lollapalooza

Not your usual Shaytards video! In case you didn't already know, Lollapolooza is happening right now (if you're reading this later, um, I guess you missed out) and Shay Carl, Charles and Alli from CTFxC, and even KassemG are all backstage watching the bands perform (Kassem is wearing an odd tank top which I think almost got him arrested). If you want to see what it's like up close and personal to the stage area, watch this. Just try to avoid the punch-happy security guys (or who I like to call Fisty, Stabby and Punchy). "Who's that other guy with the beard?" you're asking? That's Shay's brother Casey who also has a channel on Youtube (caseylavere) so take a look at his channel too. Somewhere in this crowd is Lisa Nova (I think that might be Lisa at 9:30 putting on the glasses) although she made a pre-Lollapolooza video: LollapaLISA!).

Hey Hey, You Can Ask... KassemG?

I must have way, way too many channels that I am subscribed to because I somehow missed a bunch of these "Ask Kassem" videos from KassemG but that's probably because he's blocked my access to his various channels which is likely covered in the paperwork I got with that restraining order. That wacky Kassem. Always joking around. He even joked with the officers who led me away after I visited him about using the nightstick and tazer on me. But back to the video:



This video was actually posted on Kassem's 2nd channel called KassemGtwo which is also getting quite a few subscribers (346,771) and will probably be in the Top 100 shortly. How did I find out he had posted this video? Probably because of my Twitter account @kassemGfanboy9 but don't tell him about that account. If you want to stalk, sorry, the lawyers say I have to say follow (how is following not stalking? This is all so confusing) Kassem on Twitter, you can follow him @kassemg (but you didn't hear that from me).

KassemG And California On Thanksgiving

"It was the pilgrims dude, the pilgrims were cool man." That seems to be the consensus of those who were interviewed by KassemG as to what Thanksgiving is. Religious zealots who thought wearing belt buckles on their hats and shoes was a cool fashion choice. See what California thinks about Thanksgiving:

Why was Thanksgiving started Kassem asks. And everyone blurts out "Pilgrims." Yeah, the pilgrims had a date night with the local Indians (Native Americans), got them drunk and took advantage of them, then stole their land.

What should Kassem do the next "California On" about? Zombies? Harry Potter? Zombie Harry Potter? Hermione's Chamber of Secrets?

Nigahiga In Agents Of Secret Stuff

So THIS is what Ryan Higa has been working on! Below is the trailer for Agents of Secret Stuff which is scheduled to be released November 24, 2010. I need to see more before offering an assessment, but parts of it look funny from what you see here.



Ryan Higa is cast as a super-secret agent given the task of guarding the incredibly lovely Arden Cho from some fiendish bad guys, led by HiImRawn it would look like.

Wong Fu Productions is credited with directing this 40 minute epic that will premiere on the Nigahiga channel. They are also listed along with Ryan as co-writers and co-producers and the motion graphics are the work of Derrick Lee of rikognition. The music is very ably done by George Shaw who is a rising musician/composer in Hollywood. Check out his website for more about him and for some samples of his music: georgeshawmusic.com.

Ass Vs Syns

An interesting play on the word assassins? Ass (Agents of Secret Stuff) vs Syns (Society Involving Not-so-good Stuff) = clever. Sorta reminds me of that old television series Get Smart with the good guys: Control versus the bad guys: Chaos.

Ryan is a good choice as the good-looking, cleancut good guy going up against Rawn (who will tower over Ryan) who is like six foot five. I can almost picture the scene where Ryan has to battle Rawn and will be nose to bellybutton with him, but Higa will undoubtedly kick some major buttocks when they have to throw fists.

Some of the usual suspects make up some of the smaller roles, love seeing KassemG cast as the school teacher and the boys from Smosh. D-Trix (thedominicshow on YouTube) is one guy I'm subbed to that you may not know, but you have to see this hilarious video he did a while back called Mother's Milk.

But like I said, it looks like it may be good, but until I see more, I can't give it the thumbs up or down. I will say this though, this is a very ballsy move to make a 40-minute film even if you are the numero uno and most subscribed Youtuber. This is really stretching the envelope by Nigahiga, so definitely a hats off to him and the people who worked on this. There's already a lot of hype from what I can see and I for one look forward to seeing the full movie. And did I mention that Arden Cho was totally hot and an excellent choice for the love interest/damsel in distress that Ryan (or is it "Jose") gets to rescue?

You will be able to see the film in its entirety on November 24, 2010, but for those lucky few who can make it to CGV Cinemas in Los Angeles for the 23rd, you can get a sneak preview at a special screening. For more details, you'll need to jump over to wongfuproductions.com.

DeniseVlogs Pranks The Station

"Wants some gum?" That's usually not a sentence that should make you wary at all, unless it's Denisevlogs or maybe BrettTheIntern who are going around theStation offering a shocking new flavor.



Gotta love KassemG being able to turn it around by grabbing a mittful of Denise. I once had some fake gum that looked like the real thing, but instead of giving the person a shock, it had a spring that snapped a mousetrap-like bar on their thumb when they grabbed for a stick. Oh yea, inflicting pain on your unsuspecting friends = good times!

I remember seeing another video by the ClipCritics where they did something similar with a toy gun on lots of famous youtubers. Actually check it out below:



That was from about 2 years ago. Need to get those guys back on Youtube making great videos. Have you ever seen what is probably my favorite video by the clipcritics? Language is a bit racy, and there's an odd gerbil reference or two, plus Gary Busey. Need I say more?

KassemG Talks To Californians About Aliens

So, do you believe that there are aliens out there? Not the border-crossing, take the jobs you don't want kind, but actual E.T., Star Wars, suck you up into their saucer to conduct weird sexual experiments on you kind of aliens. KassemG is asking, and as usual, the California beach crowd is more than willing to provide an informed opinion.



First, what the heck was KassemG doing kissing those dudes at the start of the video? Is that some kind of a new interviewing technique? I don't think I want to see his followup questions because I'm afraid I may see some inappropriate gropage.

LOL at the blond girl saying that Kassem looks like he might be an alien and Kassem saying that yes, ideed he was an alien and he was planning on some anal probing.

Shay Carl At The Station, But Soon Heading Home To See The Tardlets

It looks like Shay is still in Los Angeles doing some top secret work for The Station, leaving Mommytard at home as the Tardlet Wrangler. Shay should be flying home to join the Shaytards tomorrow.



Shay was wandering the halls of the Station in a bloody butcher's apron so I'm hoping he is getting character for an upcoming video, while meanwhile back at "Chez Carl" (like my play on words there?) Katilette is contending with the rambunctious Shaytard children - Princesstard is truly frightening with her werewolf makeup, but Sontard was looking good shootin' hoops. I think I would have called a lot of travelling violations and fouls in that game, but they're just learning, so you have to cut them some slack. I do think Sontard may be more of a football guy than a basketball guy.

It was funny seeing them filming a scene at the Station and KassemG silently tearing Shay a new one for vlogging while they went over what the wanted to do in the scene. I've noticed that the videos from "The Station" have slowed down in number while their 2nd channel, The Station2 have increased.

So Shay will be back in Idaho tomorrow. And tell Shay to remember his toothbrush and not to leave his camera on the plane this time!

DeniseVlogs Asks The Station "What Are You Gonna Be This Halloween?"

Have you figured out what you are going to be this Halloween? Got a great costume idea picked out? No? Why not take some ideas from people working at The Station for this year? DeniseVlogs asks some of the behind-the-scenes folks (and KassemG) what they plan on being for Halloween.



Now Denise starts of rough as the first guy has a terrible time with the question. And the mean girl who slams Denise for her fashion sense - I think Denise has nice legs. But she does put her foot in her mouth with the dude planning on being a carny. I was wondering if he was testing his costume out too.

The best was with Joe Felice freaking out about his costume idea (and loved the mean girl from earlier sprinting away when Denise came up to talk to them). And then there was KassemG with a rather unique choice to be "Nice Peter". You'll have to watch the video for that one.

KassemG And Some Beach Buddies Speak Out: California On Legalizing Marijuana

Whether you support it or not, this is some funny stuff. KassemG's latest, California's beach population speaks out, somewhat coherently, about the legalization of marijuana. Like Kassem says, make sure you get out and vote November 25th so you will have the right to complain to your hearts content about all that ails the government. If you aren't from the U.S., well, feel free to complain anyway. Check out what the informed electorate has to say about the issue when answering the probing question Kassem poses to them. As a side note, Kassem seems to be probing that one guy's nipple just a bit too vigorously lol.

Nice Peter's SUPERMAN SOCKS: Review

First off, I have to admit to being subbed to Nice Peter for some time, actually from around the time he did that song for Shaytards Theme by Nice Peter. He has some good videos on his channel - more music, chatter and juggling (he's no Olga Kay as a juggler). Then there was Best Spot In The Lot another great song. Now he's got this one - Superman Socks. Give it a listen.



I give it a thumbs up for the music, the look of the video, the cameo by KassemG on tamberine (and vocals?). What did you think of the song?

Lisa Nova Does Kim Kardashian!

Sorry for the misleading title lol. Actually, LisaNova is dressed as "Kim Kardashiann" (and looks mighty hot as well) in this take off of Keeping Up With The Kardashianns. The video is Lisa's look at the Kardashians.

Yes, that's hiimrawn as "Khloe" which seems appropriate casting IMHO. "Kourtney" is played by yummy Nikki Limo, who I just spotted in one of the recent Shaytards vlogs attending a party at VidCon and just subbed to her.

Lisa Nova just keeps cranking out these funny clips of various stars and celebs and is something of a chameleon with her various characters like Molly, and that chick from The Batchelorette etc. Some of the others in this video are the MILF-tastic ceciley (who also played Nova's Mah Billie in the Molly series). And the dude playing Scott Disick is thebdonski another regular from The Station's group of performers, so make sure you check all their channels and sub of course.
