CTFxC: Charles And Alli At Lollapalooza

Charles Trippy and Alli Speed get to go to some pretty wild places and events and luckily they upload them to their CTFxC Youtube channel for all of us to share. In this video they, along with Shay Carl, Casey (Shay's brother), Lisa Nova, BrettTheIntern, and KassemG are going to Lollapalooza 2011 and their video below shows a ton of great behind the scenes stuff. Oh yeah, and Nice Peter is in the mix somewhere too.

The bands that played today (August 6th) were: J. Roddy Walston & the Business, Fitz & The Tantrums, Mayer Hawthorne & The Country, Big Audio Dynamite, Local Natives, Deftones, My Morning Jacket, Grouplove, Walk the Moon, Black Lips, Death From Above 1979, Ween, Beats Antique and Coldplay doing an encore after their great show Friday (the one Alli and Charles were at).

Lot's of great bands, Charles talks with Sonny Moore from Skrillex who in the past has let Charles use some of his tunage. Also, there's a great scene when Alli and Charles are listening to Coldplay where he explains Alli is crying because they will be walking down the aisle (fairly soon!) to Coldplay's "In My Place" (which was the song playing when Charles proposed to Alli in Spain. If you haven't seen it, that's the link).

Make sure that you tune in to the official Lollapalooza webstream which will be broadcast live. So far you may have missed the first two days but you can watch ALL of the third day (including the Foo Fighters).

If you want to see clips of Coldplay and all of the other bands onstage that you've missed you can find them there too. They have two channels available so if you aren't interested in one band you can switch over to another.

NicePeter: Gimmie A Frosty And Viewer Mail

Love the opening theme song for Nice Peter's monday video and viewer mail!



He announced that he would be doing another "Epic Rap Battle Of History" on December 8th, which is cool. If you haven't seen his last one, called Darth Vader vs Hitler, check it out.

"I don't know how you people draw! I try to draw a tree and it looks like... soup. Yum, soooup." lol, at that line. Peter gets all sorts of interesting stuff from his viewers.

The end of the video with the Star Wars action figures was great with Darth Maul crossing light sabers with a Jedi Nice Peter in super slow-mo. So much better than the popping balloon.

NicePeter: A New Crib And Busking With Lavelle

Looks like Nice Peter has moved out of the tiny apartment he's been living in and now he's in a larger place. The first thing he puts up is a picture sent in by one of his Youtube viewers.



He mentions that his recent video (Darth Vader vs Hitler. Epic Rap Battles of History 2) is closing in on one million views which is crazy good. Just about every music video he puts out seems to be highly original. He's now up to 144,662 subscribers, which puts him around the 340-345 mark for everyone on Youtube. Check his 2nd channel for even more great music - nicepetertoo.

Loved the part where he had stopped and just started busking with that guy (Lavelle?) dancing with the cowboy hat and guitar. He is giving away the Epic Rap Battles song on his website nicepeter.com for free and you can pick up his other music there for cheap.

DeniseVlogs Asks The Station "What Are You Gonna Be This Halloween?"

Have you figured out what you are going to be this Halloween? Got a great costume idea picked out? No? Why not take some ideas from people working at The Station for this year? DeniseVlogs asks some of the behind-the-scenes folks (and KassemG) what they plan on being for Halloween.



Now Denise starts of rough as the first guy has a terrible time with the question. And the mean girl who slams Denise for her fashion sense - I think Denise has nice legs. But she does put her foot in her mouth with the dude planning on being a carny. I was wondering if he was testing his costume out too.

The best was with Joe Felice freaking out about his costume idea (and loved the mean girl from earlier sprinting away when Denise came up to talk to them). And then there was KassemG with a rather unique choice to be "Nice Peter". You'll have to watch the video for that one.

Some Highlights Of Nice Peter Live Show

This is awesome. Youtuber Nice Peter shows some clips from one of his shows. I haven't had a chance to see him live but it looks like it would be a great show.



Love the part about the Fresh Prince of BelAir theme. I don't think he needs a backup band because he can fill in just about anywhere in his songs. He didn't give himself credit playing the harmonica either as he played that very well too - hey he played part of the song doing 2 harmonica parts in harmony, so that's worth something right?

And that silly bandz thing you blow? It looked like a clarinet to me, but it mine have been slipped in from the silly bandz porn collection - I dunno lol.

I always look foeward to seeing what new song Nice Peter has put out and this one is pretty good. It's no Best Spot In The Lot (still my fav Nice Peter song so far), but it's still good.

He posted it to the channel of The Station, but the "How To Play Man-Made Lake Of Love" (with chords & lyrics) was posted to his own channel. Take a look:

Brittani Louise Taylor's Ecomagination Backyard Camping Adventure

Going camping is always fun and there's always something happening that is unplanned and when Brittani Louise Taylor decides to take on one of the Ecomagination challenges suggested by her viewers by camping in her friend's backyard, there are some mishaps.



It's kinda funny when you find out that someone who you are subbed to on YouTube is friends with someone else you have subscribed to on the website. I've been subbed to Brigitte Dale for quite some time and had no idea that she was friends with Brittani Louise Taylor until this video. You should sub to her too because she's a wee bit quirky and puts up some interesting videos. Brittani and Brigette decide to camp in (I'm guessing) Brigette's backyard along with Shane Dawson and Joey Anderton, but first they have to assemble the tent and that didn't go quite as smoothly as you would think.

Plus there was the added problem of sprinklers going off and the girls and the tent got soaked. Typical hardships most campers would face lol. But they survived the wilds of the backyard and completed another Go Green challenge for Ecomagination.

Nice Peter's SUPERMAN SOCKS: Review

First off, I have to admit to being subbed to Nice Peter for some time, actually from around the time he did that song for Shaytards Theme by Nice Peter. He has some good videos on his channel - more music, chatter and juggling (he's no Olga Kay as a juggler). Then there was Best Spot In The Lot another great song. Now he's got this one - Superman Socks. Give it a listen.



I give it a thumbs up for the music, the look of the video, the cameo by KassemG on tamberine (and vocals?). What did you think of the song?

Nice Peter Juggles Eggs In Slo-Mo & His Latest Video "Tru Gangster"

Here Nice Peter explains how he got started in "Show Business" and explains what happened in his Tru Gangster video (see below). Who would have thought he started out doing Irish dancing?!

What do you think about his wicked juggling skills? Not only is he a great guitar player, but he can juggle too. I do think that Olga Kay would probably kick his butt in the juggling department, but I don't think she would do quite as well on the guitar.
