Iraqi medical doctors implicated in plundering body organs 04 Apr 2010 Iraqi police have arrested several people among them three doctors on charges of plundering body organs in the northern city of Mosul. The victims whose organs were plundered were first kidnapped and then brought to a government hospital where their kidneys were extracted under duress. Hospital director Raad al-Wazan affirmed that nine people were brought to Mosul's General Hospital where they were operated clandestinely and their kidneys removed. "The surgical operations were not proper and accurate," Wazan said.

German soldiers kill five Afghan troops 03 Apr 2010 German soldiers killed five Afghan troops who were riding in two civilian cars that did not stop at a check post, the German military said Saturday. The two cars drove toward German soldiers who were on duty and did not stop for checks so an armoured vehicle opened fire on one of the cars, it said.
