War on Terror -US Afghan Military Strategy-Assessed by a leading Western Military Thinker and Coin Specialist

War on Terror -US Military-Assessed by a leading Western Military Thinker and Coin Specialist

I do not know if the West is even capable of waking-up anymore - sometimes I despair of it but God is in His Heaven and He knows how these things must be carried out as they will all serve His will in the end (another way of saying 'God-Willing' 'Inshallah' [forgive my spelling]).

I think one of the gravest difficulties that most Americans have to deal with is the fact that reality does not agree with their false image of themselves as a great warrior people; which, manifestly, they are not!

I truly believe that they have fallen victims to gtheir own propaganda which emanates out of Hollywood - all of its work being complete and laughable fiction. the greatest irony of all in this regard is that they are a people obsessed with what they call "Reality TV" but which in fact is always a completely scripted hoax!

Perhaps, in this context, they truly believe that the Talibs and other FATA tribesmen will comply with their 'reality show' and line up to be slaughtered by their wonderful GI Joe & GI Jane 'soldiers'?

I cannot tell you how much vicious nonsense the very fine official US Army historian, Col. Trevor Dupuy, ran into as a result of his exhaustive research concerning the combat power of US soldiers versus German soldiers of the Wehrmacht in WWII.

After he did exhaustive studies, with data from both sides, and after he had crunched all the numbers and factored in and subtracted the plusses and minuses of air-power, etc., the average German soldier in France proved to be about twice as conbat effective as the best soldiers America could produce.

Americans just could not handle this reality and they cursed the messenger, the good Colnel; but he did no more than tell them the truth - and even then - he had sugar-coated that truth as he had allowed very little for the fact that most of the soldiers in France at the time of D-Day were from units that were exhausted from the Russian Front - they were tired men for the most part, recuperating from some of the most ferocious battles ever waged on earth.

Any yet, these worn-out German Landsers, with a failing or failed air-arm (Luftwaffe) managed to nearly throw the US troops back in the sea in Normandy (had Rommels Panzers been forward as he had argued for - there is no doubt they would have cast the Allies back).

Moreover, even while rocking back on their heels - in the westerwald, they tore the guts out of at least two divisions of American troops in the Hurtigen Forest; and on and on the bitter lessons were taught.

But what did the Americans learn from all of this? Not much other than they continued to believe the lie that they were all Audey Murphy's and that now they are all Rambos!

But any great power so enamored with false-hood can not stand for long - so I continue to pray that they wake up before its far too late (which it may already be).
