Amina Masud Janjua on the Dirty Tactics of Pakistani Establishment

AMINA MASUD JANJUA IS A VERY BOLD AND COURAGEOUS LADY SPEAHEADING THE RECOVER THE MISSING PERSONS CAMPAIGN IN PAKISTAN

AGHA H AMIN

AMINA MASUDS STATEMENT :--

Dear All ,

Dr. Abdul Rauf is a thorough gentleman who was very well known to me.

Only one day before he was picked , I saw him participating in the Missing
Persons conference in Rawalpindi press club on the Human Rights Day 10th
Dec. The very next day  i heard he has been kidnapped !!!!. This is the kind
of ruthless broad day-light crime i am trying hard to focus on and bring to
light the misery, agony and pain felt by the aggrieved family of the
abductee.

Defence of Human Rights has registered the case of Dr. Abdul Rauf. We would appreciate the role of the civil society and their staunch support in
bringing  justice to the victims of Enforced Disappearances ,and therefore i
expect large numbers to come out in the protest we are arranging in the near
future. Please give me your input;  23rd Dec coming wednesday is the
probable date at parade ground blue area Islamabad.

I appreciate the interest , guidelines and alerts pooled in ,  in this
connection. Our campaigner and media secretory K Asif is taking the detailed
testimony from the family of Dr Abdul Rauf.

We also aim to build pressure on the Supreme Court to take notice of all the
new, old and on going abductions for God's sake. We have been waiting and
waiting for justice , in spite of giving so many years of sacrifices for the
sitting Judiciary and Rule of law , we are still aggrieved separated with
our loved-ones and still denied of our most basic human rights. If not now ,
when will the justice reach us ?

Please raise this slogan for the protest ;*JUSTICE NOW FOR THE DISAPPEARED
!!! *
*
*
Stay safe and strong,

Amina Masood Janjua
