Look at this list of settler-initiated crimes against Palestinians in the last few weeks Posted: 01 Sep 2010 10:27 AM PDT I have been to the West Bank, I have seen with my own eyes how the settlers walk around with machine guns, terrorizing the native Palestinian population. They are only in the West Bank to justify a continued Israeli military presence there; and they are armed to the teeth. Where did the settlers get their machine guns from? Where did the settlers learn that it is OK to hate Palestinians, that their presence in the OPT is justified even if it comes with the wholesale subjugation of a people? The settlers, the majority of them are trouble-makers who need to be removed from the Palestinian territories, asap.

President [Richard] Levin has asked me to respond to your letter of August 30th.

The group consisted of 12 Ukrainian surgeons, and was headed by an israeli citizen. Investigators said the group, which was in this business for 3 years, attracted people who are ready to sell their organs, from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, and Uzbekistan, and would perform the surgeries in Azerbaijan and Ecuador.

Posted: 01 Sep 2010 04:02 AM PDT It is still fashionable in the American media to deride 'conspiracies' with a blanket if illogical and uninformed smear. Conspiracies are, in fact, how things get done in either crime or commerce. Lately, there is little difference. When just one percent of the U.S. population owns more than the rest of us combined, we are expected to believe that this is the result of merit and commerce. But if we should cite the evidence that argues persuasively that this outcome is the result of a conspiracy of right wing politicians and the venal elites who bankroll them we are reviled and/or ridiculed. That's understandable! We should expect this pack of lies of anyone caught with a hand in the sugar bowl, benefiting financially for having hijacked the apparatus of government for purely venal and/or commercial benefit.
